0% VOC --- Shipped UPS ground only in the lower 48 states

Solvent free, commercial grade, floor epoxy paint - This is the high end

product the pros use (explains the no frills product name!)

Application by short nap roller or squeegee and short nap roller. A top quality, solvent-free, general epoxy floor paint. Not for use on vertical surfaces. Coverage is approximately 175 squ feet per 1.5 gallon unit. Easy 2:1 mix by vol (1: 0.39 by weight). Colors: Beige, Light Gray.

Consider using Bio Vee Seal as a concrete pre-treatment step prior to applying this floor epoxy. Bio Vee Seal is listed below. Top coating with our Acrylic Poly UV Plus (lots of UV blockers - (More on UV blockers) will keep the new shiny look longer and help keep the epoxies from yellowing (note yellowing not very visible with the beige, but the gray will turn to a greenish gray in direct sun.). The beige doesn't hide quite as well as the light gray. One coat generally covers but if your cement is 'multi-colored stained' or you've really rolled out the beige (instead of putting it on sort of thick) you might want two coats of beige.

Also used as a base layer for colored chips or commercial sand/colored sand broadcast epoxy floor systems.

"Hi, Just wanted to say Thanks for the great product (Industrial Floor Epoxy) and service on my Garage floor project. It set up great and once I got the knack for Pot Life times, I was off and running laying down the mixture!! I should have taken before and after photos but it really came out great and most important, I can see the strength of the Epoxy as a protective barrier. I look forward to winter now with all it's wrath! This time I'm ready! Hope to be in touch soon for other projects." Mark

"Dear Sir, We applied the Industrial Floor Epoxy in our work trailer yesterday, and I swept off the excess sand today. We are very pleased with the results. None of us had any particular experience with this kind of application, but we followed the instructions, had a fairly cool morning to do the work, and managed to complete the application in about 90 minutes, dividing the work and mixing epoxy in three sections. I would recommend this material to friends looking to do similar work. Thank you for your assistance, the all-purpose sand was quite adequate for our needs." R.C. - Virginia Transportation Research Council (9/2010)

Brent L. emailed: "Paul, A few weeks ago I ordered epoxy, color chips and UV Poly top coat for my garage (1700sqft). You may or may not remember an order of 15gal of epoxy to Bismarck, North Dakota.... Anyway, I have half the floor done (half because of moving everything in my garage from one side to the other) and the floor looks awesome. People hat have seen it are astounded, they've never seen anything like it because no one around here supplies industrial epoxy... I spent many months researching on the Internet what products are available and their cost. The product you have supplied is top notch and I have passed on your name to anyone that is interested."  Brent

12/08 "Great site, don't let anyone get you down by saying its not professional or whatever. Lots of good things to learn here. I bought you garage floor epoxy about 8 years ago. Lots of abuse but its still holding together.  Thanks "- Daniel

2) ESP 155 (solvent based Epoxy Sealer Primer)

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

VOC 239 g/l--- Shipped UPS ground only. Not for sale in California

ESP 155 is a clear, solvent based sealer and primer used on cement, fiberglass and wood. It is used on floors when the concrete is questionable (weak cement, cleaned oil/greasy spots - did they get degreased well enough?) Also used to help reduce outgassing of air from cement floors and seal hairline cracks, and help address moisture issues if there is no vapor barrier under the cement

ESP goes on very thin. A 2 quart unit generally covers about 150 sf. It will show epoxy UV yellowing very quickly unless top coated with our India Spar Varnish (i.e. used on table tops etc.), our UV Plus Acrylic Poly, or "regular paint". You might consider just using ESP 155 top coated with "regular paint" in place of the much thicker epoxy paints. Unlike the thicker epoxy paints, this thin coating will not hide cracks, imperfections in the cement, or edges of old, existing paint still on the floor.

3) BIO VEE SEAL internal concrete moisture reducer

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

0% VOC --- Shipped UPS ground only (lower 48 states). Water based - restricted winter time shipping

Bio Vee Seal is a proprietary catalyzed Potassium formulation (not a silane or siloxane).

A one part, non-epoxy concrete pore filler/fortifier. Seals and waterproofs by crystallizing within surface pores thus reducing permeability and porosity while leaving no trace on the surface of the concrete. Since it doesn't leave a surface layer, it doesn't prevent future painting or coating.

Use to stop that 'damp, musty smell in your basement that can promote mold and lead to serious health problems! This usually means there is no vapor barrier (plastic film) under the concrete so moisture is moving up through the concrete (which can prevent any sort of coating for bonding well to the floor). Bio Vee Seal is your best option for reducing this no-vapor-barrier moisture migration (so the floor can be successfully coated - cross your fingers! - with some sort of floor paint).

Coverage about 200-250 square feet per gallon.

USED BY ITSELF, IT WILL REDUCE, OR ELIMINATE, MOISTURE MIGRATION THROUGH CONCRETE FLOORS AND WELLS (THROUGH THE CONCRETE ITSELF, NOT WHEN MIGRATION IS THROUGH CRACKS). IT IS USED ON CONCRETE THAT IS ALWAYS A BIT DAMP AND TO END THE 'MUSTY' OR DAMP SMELL IN BASEMENTS, ETC. PERHAPS MORE IMPORTANTLY, BUT LESS OBVIOUS, IS THAT BY REDUCING OR ELIMINATING MOISTURE MOVEMENT THROUGH THE CONCRETE IT INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD OF A SUCCESSFUL PAINT OR COATING JOB ON THE CONCRETE SURFACE (NOTE: THIS PRODUCT WORKS BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE CONCRETE, IT LEAVES NOTHING ON THE SURFACE unless you apply more than can soak in - then it leaves a 'white hard to remove dust" on the surface). THIS IS BECAUSE MANY COATING FAILURES ARE THE RESULT OF MOISTURE OR VAPOR PRESSURE BUILDING UP ON THE UNDERSIDE OF COATINGS APPLIED TO CONCRETE.

BIO VEE SEAL IS A RECOMMENDED, BUT OPTIONAL, PRE-TREATMENT TO CONCRETE SURFACES THAT WILL BE COATED WITH SOME SORT OF SURFACE COATING AT A LATER DATE.

A typical purchaser is coating using this product to coat the concrete in a new home construction - putting off using epoxy floor paints until a later time. - typically purchasing 5-10 gallons.

Although untested, it is probably useful for sealing off subsurface greases and oils on surface degreased concrete, preventing the oils from subsequent migration back to the surface and affecting the epoxy bond.

WILL SEAL UNCOATED/UNPAINTED STUCCO!

This product has its own web page: Bio-Vee concrete fortifier and sealer

Hi Paul, I purchased your Bio Vee Sealer for my concrete garage and I must say the stuff works great. It's very obvious that water does not "seep" into the concrete now when the floor gets wet. Hopefully this will prevent oil stains and such later on.  Nelson

Dave M. wrote:  I used the bio-vee after discussing it with you 3 years ago. The concrete was new - walls,12 mos. - floor maybe 6 mos... Applied Bio-Vee Seal to the floor and walls inside. I also did the exposed walls outside. The humidity has improved (lowered) considerably. No need for a dehumidifier now.

Almost 2 years later Dave used it again.....

Hi Paul:  I used the BIO-VEE on the chimney (red brick and mortar) and it worked perfectly. It stopped the chimney from absorbing water and leaking into the house.

Common applications: moisture transmission reduction on/in exposed concrete

4) ACRYLIC POLY UV PLUS two part acrylic polyurethane with max UV protection

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

VOC 249 g/l --- Shipped UPS ground only. Not for sale in California

Acrylic Poly UV Plus ("UV PLUS"), is a high solvent (stinky) 2 part poly with max UV protection used as a top coat to keep epoxy floors from UV yellowing. It is also used as the middle layer clear coat in floor coating systems to hold a accept colored chips (note chips can be broadcast directly upon the pigmented epoxy floor paint, but putting them into a middle clear coat is better and more professional). After being used in the "chip layer" another coat of it is applied on top of the "chip layer."

Acrylic Poly UV Plus is listed in SECTION E of this online catalog - non-epoxies. (you are in SECTION B - floors currently). CLICK HERE to go to SECTION E

Stopping UV damage and UV yellowing  ----------------    Josie Lewis (6/2010) wrote:

Hi Paul: I recently purchased some clear epoxy  and Acrylic Poly UV Plus from your company. I have access to a UV chamber which simulates high altitude direct UV exposure. I thought you might be interested in my findings. I used a Masonite panel painted white and then coated with the epoxy. On half of the epoxy coated panel, I brushed on one coat of UV Poly and put it in the chamber for 644 hours at 50 C (the heat accelerates the exposure). Attached is a picture of the results. The masonite cracked a bit and separated due to a bit of wetness in the wood (unrelated to the resin). The epoxy  ambered dramatically within about 50 hours. After 644 hours, the UV Poly showed a slight bit of ambering from the original control but it is marginal at worst. The technician who ran the test said if it isn't yellow at 644 hours it is basically indestructible. I also tested several other 2-part resin products with the UV Poly and had the same result. You have a great product. I now feel secure knowing that my resin art, protected with the Poly UV Plus, will be archival and protected for long years. I will be ordering more soon!

Best, Josie (6/2010) Order Acrylic Poly UV plus - (see more about UV --- UV issues)  cannot be sold in Calif. - and all our other products at our King Cart Storefront. Acrylic poly UV Plus is in the non-epoxy section.

5) LOW V EPOXY

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

0% VOC--- Shipped UPS ground only in the lower 48 states

Low V epoxy is a clear, low viscosity, solvent free epoxy with "more than normal UV yellowing". It bonds to wet or damp surfaces so often used for rot repair. It is sometimes used as the "middle layer" to hold colored paint chips in epoxy floors instead of the Acrylic Poly UV Plus listed above. Using the much thicker Low V epoxy instead of the Poly will 'bury the chips'" resulting in a smoother surface. Then, two coats of the Poly are applied over the Low V - chip layer to prevent UV yellowing of the base epoxy and the Low V epoxy.

The most common use for LOW V epoxy is sealing the floors in shipping containers which contain all sorts of poisons to keep insects and bugs at bay. There is a special web page on this application CLICK HERE.

Low V epoxy is listed in SECTION D of this online catalog - clear epoxies. (you are in SECTION B - floors currently). CLICK HERE to go to SECTION D

6) WATER GARD 300 EPOXY PAINT

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

0% VOC --- Shipped UPS ground only. Only shipped within the lower 48 states

Water Gard 300 is an epoxy paint (thicker and more body than the epoxy floor paints) that can be used on floors. It comes in white or light blue, but like all epoxies it will yellow in UV. That stated, Water Gard has less yellowing than other epoxies. For folks that want the perfect pure white floor (like seen in aircraft hangers in adventure movies) the approach is an epoxy base and a 2 part white poly over the epoxy.

Water Gard is usually sold as an epoxy paint that can be applied underwater for swimming pool touch up (without draining the water) or as a barrier coat on boat hulls below the waterline.

Water Gard 300 epoxy is listed in SECTION A of this online catalog - epoxy paints. (you are in SECTION B - floors currently). CLICK HERE to go to SECTION A

7) ALUTHANE aluminum filled moisture cured urethane (MCU)

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

VOC 356 g/l --- Shipped UPS ground only. Only shipped within the lower 47 states. Not for sale in California

Aluthane is a high solvent (stinky!), aluminum filled, moisture cured urethane. It is often used on metal surfaces, but also works well in fiberglass, wood and concrete (except on oily surfaces). On non-porous surfaces it has a light gray color. Unlike other coatings it can be applied at temps as slow as near freezing. Use to seal concrete with an attractive thin coating (in normal, hot or cold weather). When you need/want to coat your concrete quickly and easily (shop floor?? shed?) aluthane is an easy and low cost alternative to $$$ epoxy floors.

Aluthane is listed in SECTION E of this online catalog - non-epoxies. (you are in SECTION B - floors currently). CLICK HERE to go to SECTION E

This product is featured on the GreatThings4u.com website

I received an email on aug. 7th from Sgt. Josh X reminding me how well Aluthane  works on floors. "Hello, Have used aluthane before and it is an amazing product. Applied it to a shop floor 6 years ago and no chips or scratches."

8) ROUGH COAT epoxy paint with grit

** EMAIL //// ph 603.435.7199 EST ////  BUY ONLINE (two different online stores) /// RETURN TO CATALOG HOMEPAGE **

VOC 249 g/l --- Shipped UPS ground only. Only shipped within the lower 47 states. Not for sale in California

EPOXY FLOOR PAINT WITH NON SLIP ALREADY IN IT (GREAT FOR DECKS, WALKWAYS, SIDEWALKS ETC)

This is our special floor epoxy with grit already mixed-in for non slip. It is solvent based, flexible, and rolls on at about 160 - 180 square feet per gallon kit. The solvents are necessary as they allow the grit thickened epoxy to roll our nicely and then 'shrink' down as the solvents evaporate away, allowing the grit to become fully exposed. We just couldn't achieve this nice distribution without the solvents. The end result is a floor with a grit surface. Texture is rougher than you would see in a shower, but still not 'industrial rough' - similar to what I have seen on custom wooden boats decks. One coat is fine, but two coats really masks the 'roller direction pattern' of the grit sometimes seen with only one coat, giving a slightly more textured surface with a more random pattern. It can be brushed on too, but the brush marks are very obvious. Unlike the Industrial Floor epoxy, but like the Water Bond epoxy, Rough Coat will not hide cracks and flaws on the surface. If you need to 'hide' cracks etc., use a base coat of the Industrial Floor Epoxy or our clear watery Low V epoxy under the Rough Coat. Being solvent based, pot life is measured in hours, not minutes.

When grit is mixed into a paint or epoxy and brush applied, one can see the brush mark pattern. The results look better when roller applied. Two coats always helps provide more grit and a more uniform pattern.  Part of the problem is the mixing and dispersion of the grit in the liquid product. Rough Coat overcomes almost all of these objections but making the part A of this two part epoxy almost like whip cream and matching the density of the grit to the density of the coating. Also by using some solvent in the coating, it brushes on nicely and 'shrinks' down as it cures and the solvent flashes off, leaving behind a nearly perfect  and uniform non skid texture.

A white film can sometimes form on the surface within the first 1 - 3 days if temps. are cool and dew/condensation form. Best applied indoors or in warm summer weather.

The color is a light tan or khaki. We selected this color because it has enough yellow it shouldn't show UV yellowing but it is light enough in color that you can topcoat it with a layer of latex or enamel in whatever color you want (and still have a non-skid texture). We have seen boat decks and patio decks etc. in this light tan woody color, and it is a color we don't have any other epoxy in, so it seemed like a good color to stock.

In terms of color and texture it seems to match the appearance of 'fine sharp sand in flat enamel' on small custom made wooden boats I've seen at the WoodenBoat show in Maine. The part A looks like whipped cream in the can but when mixed with the liquid part B it forms a nice coating.

Texture is suitable for bare feet.

Walnut Anti-Slip:

For use as a foot traffic anti-slip additive to paint, ground walnut shells have no equal. As a hardened wood it will absorb a bit of the epoxy, stay suspended in the epoxy (instead of sinking to the bottom like sand), and can be sanded away at some time in the future (unlike sand anti-slip which will destroy any sandpaper). Add 16 ounces (1 pint) per gallon of roller applied epoxy.

NOTE: WITH THE WATER BASED FLOOR EPOXY IT IS BETTER TO BROADCAST THE WALNUT SHELL POWDER UPON THE ROLLED OUT EPOXY RATHER THAN MIXING IT INTO THE EPOXY. THE EPOXY IS TOO THIN TO KEEP THE WALNUT SHELLS SUSPENDED IN THE EPOXY AND TOO THIN TO LET THE ROLLER CARRY AND DISPERSE THEM EVENLY.
