Note: There are options (and other things you should know)

1) The chips can be broadcast into the clear coat where it can be back rolled, wiped off and re-applied, etc.

2) Epoxies (clear or white) will yellow in direct sunlight. Progressive offers a two-part clear urethane with UV blockers that will stop the UV yellowing (Acrylic Poly UV Plus).

3) You could replace the white epoxy with white paint over an epoxy base (i.e. marine epoxy) followed by the clear top coat. We do sell a white epoxy (Watergard 300 - often used as a marine barrier coat. We Also sell several clear epoxies and epoxy primers).

4) This system is often used in garages and commercial installations, but obviously works well in marine settings.

5) The percentage of background color showing through the chip overlay is generally between 0% and 90%.

6) More on this chip system -
www.epoxyproducts.com/chips4u.html

7) Min. chip purchase is a 10 pound bag ($50 plus shipping). Select colors and percentage of each from our chip color chart. Sorry samples of the colors and chips are not available. (but 3/4 odd lot testers are!)

The chips are listed in our industrial/home catalog (www.epoxyproducts.com/b_floor.html). Note they cannot be ordered online.
