How much time do you have to work with your epoxies after the two parts are mixed?
There are lots of factors involved. Generally the reaction and working time double or half for every 18 degree
F (10 degree C) change in temperature. The amount of epoxy mixed and the shape of the container also affect the
working time. More epoxy means less time. More concentrated the container (such as a cup or a pail) means shorter
working time.
Some epoxies generate more heat than others as it nears the end of its working time. Some will literally melt any
plastic container they might be in.
Even when hard, epoxies will take several days or longer to cure 100%.
