Clear Table/Bar Top Epoxies From Progressive Epoxy Polymers, Inc.
NOTE: WATERY, THIN EPOXIES SELF LEVEL EASILY AND RARELY
TRAP AIR BUBBLES IF MIXED SLOWLY
Bio Clear 810 - Pourable Table Top Epoxy
Bio Clear 810 is our recommended pour-on coating. Almost as watery as the Low V epoxy, it can be applied thicker - up to 1 1/2 inch thick in very small pours (ounces of epoxy) or 1/4 to 1/2 inch in larger pours. It resists yellowing better than any clear epoxy I've ever seen. Its only down side is that it cannot be applied as a thin coat (i.e by brush or poured very thinly). For a poured on surface greater than 1/4 inch, this is the best product we have ever used.
Yes you can bury shells, pictures, etc. in the epoxy. We have only heard of one case of the inks/colors running and that was with cheap Madri Gras decorations. No reports of problems with recent photographs (best to laminate all photos before pouring epoxy on top). Note, however, these things might release air bubbles when flooded with epoxy.
COMMERCIAL PRODUCT, ONLY SOLD IN 1.5 QUART TEST UNITS, 1.5 GALLON, & 3 GALLON UNITS

John has overseen several large bar top pours using Bio Clear 810
throughout the United States (He doesn't work for us!) and probably knows
the product, and the ins and outs of small, medium, and large pours better
than anyone else. He has developed methods to tint the clear epoxy into
different shades of color as well as color layers, swirls and other effects.
Lighting and project design or consultation services are available.
His largest project was an 800 square foot floor done in a single pour.
John very strongly recommends you contact him before
you build your bar so
that the design is optimized for a poured epoxy top. He is a professional
woodworker and can help you avoid a costly mistake.
In addition, he can refurbish your existing epoxy surface, making it as
good as new! Just have your old, scratched - up surface made perfect again
and avoid huge remodeling costs.

pours
