COMMERCIAL "BEST PRODUCT" WINNER |
The very lastest generation of underwater epoxies, Wet Dry 700 is Kevlar (tm) filled, underwater (or dry surface) epoxy paste. Thick but workable at low temperatures. Use as a thick coating or repair paste, with or without fiberglass cloth. Easy 1:1 mix ratio. Color: white. Non-hazmat and available for export outside the USA.. A lot of our 1 quart kit sales are used for fiberglass swimming pool repairs underwater. This product is about wall mud thick. To make thicker (i.e. like bread dough) add some of our EZ thick thickener....
This is a favorite product around my house. This past weekend (8/26/06) I used it to attach a chimney cap to my metal chimney, fill in a rotten spot on my wooden picnic table, re-attach some trim work on my kayak, and waterproof the electrical wire connections on both a bilge pump and and outdoor speaker.

Thanks, Tim (2/09)
Paul,
I purchased a two part epoxy from you about a year ago to patch the bottom of a boat.
The boat was in the water. It still is holding up great!
----------

Paul:
Please allow me to thank you for your recent help regarding an underwater epoxy repair to take place at one of
the many tanks at the ZZZ State Aquarium in ZZZZ. The work turned out to be a stunning success!
After receiving your recommended epoxy for the job one day earlier than we had expected (it arrived Wednesday instead
of Thursday), our team of four commercial divers quickly assembled and headed to the Aquarium. This gave us one
more day to perform our work.
We had purchased enough epoxy from you to test prior to completing the job, which was a great idea. It took us
several batches before we were able to create a perfect match to the concrete interior of the tank. Once this was
done and the formula perfected, our end result was a virtually invisible repair that was simply shocking to Aquarium
personnel. In fact, when the President of the corporation that owns the Aquarium saw our work, he was unable to
find the repairs... A true testament to your excellent advice and your wonderful products!
After considering this all weekend, we have decided to keep it a proprietary secret how we managed to create such
a visually perfect repair... However, your advice - and two "accidents" with the epoxy (not to mention
a tremendous amount of physical labor and many hours under water) - was the true secret to the success of the job.
We are amazingly pleased with the outcome, as is our direct client, the ZZZ Aquarium, it's volunteers and employees,
and even one of our co-contractors. Everyone was impressed. To the best of my knowledge, this has never been successfully
done before. This puts Deep South Divers at a considerable competitive advantage when it comes to underwater cosmetic
repairs of public aquariums, water parks, and the like. I am confident that we will be considered "the"
experts on the underwater repairs of such facilities in the future.
Thank you very much! We definitely will be doing more business with you - and are looking forward to it!

THICK LIKE CHEWING GUM - NEEDS HOT WEATHER TO EVEN GET OUT OF THE CAN
THE ORIGINAL UNDERWATER REPAIR EPOXY
We have been as guilty as anyone with regards to making fun of the 'ORIGINAL (A-788)"
first generation underwater epoxy known as Splash Zone. It is hard to find, but many divers and marine repair companies
still use it regularly, as they have for many, many years. Instead of denying the the marketplace we decided to
offer Splash Zone ourselves, repackaged in small, end-user sizes. Two part Splash Zone works sort of like bubble
gum. 1:1 mix.
2 gallon kit - $225
West Marine (www.westmarine.com) is perhaps the largest marine and boating supply store. They also sell this same Splash Zone™ product. Their 2009 catalog (page 221) lists a 2 gal kit for $279.99' Compare that to our price for 2 gallons!
